Sun Joe is one of the top brands, especially when it comes to electrical pressure washers. They have put in a lot of time and effort to design a lightweight pressure washer that is easy to move, while still allowing you to get the job done. It is designed with versatility, to give users the option of choosing the pressure they want to use.
The Sun Joe SPX3000 was the option that we have selected to test and coming with great recommendations, the pressure washer not only looks stylish with the traditional Sun Joe color but also works effectively to get the job done and ensure that you don’t have any issues when it comes to cleaning or assembling.
Having a dual detergent tank, one can assume that it is designed to add some sort of special soap or detergent to help you get the job done. This will feed into the hose and combine as you would like it to get the job done effectively. Since the tanks can actually be removed, you can wash them out once you are done without getting anything else wet.
Sun Joe is not known for many design flaws, but we did find one that was frustrating. The unit has a couple of sharp plastic edges that keeps on snagging everything. At first, you will also notice that it can lead to a couple of cuts on your hands and your body. Eventually, you will adapt to using it without these issues.
One of the best parts about the Sun Joe SPX3000 is the price. Compared to some of the elite pressure washers, it is one of the more affordable options on the market today and should give you some great value for your money. It is also protected by a decent warranty.
Simpson Pressure Washer:
Simpson is more of an industrial grade brand and they mostly focus on designing powerful pressure washers that will get the job done while using almost any type of detergent or cleaning product. The Honda engine is one of the first things that you will notice and this is specifically made to give it more power and pressure when washing almost anything. The design out of the box is not as stylish as the Sun Joe, but it looks more rugged. Having these massive wheels does give you more confidence to take in into more precarious terrains.
The spray it uses is actually quite durable and really functional. This will make it much easier to do maintenance and to keep the unit working as it should. One of the unfortunate downsides is the fact that we had a little bit of gasoline that leaked out of the tank and calling the Simpson Customer Support was not helpful as the engine is designed by Honda.
Since this pressure washer has some of the best features, it is no secret that is also really expensive. It might not be ideal for any budget and is mostly used by those with industrial grade cleaning needs. Fortunately, the unit works with almost any detergent and this is a common trend among the Simpson pressure washers.
Which One Is The Best?
It is really hard for us to determine that one specific pressure washer is better than others. They both have some great uses, but Sun Joe is one of the top brands when you are looking for something affordable that can be used for everyday activities. The electrical design also reduces the maintenance a lot.
Simpson is one of the two brands for those industrial cleaning projects that will need something more powerful and durable. As we have mentioned, the downside is the price and additional maintenance. Both of them will inevitably get the job done.
